The Puerto Rico Hobie Cat Association is a non-profit organization committed to the development of new and existing athletes within the sailing discipline. Puerto Rico, with perfect weather and spectacular beaches, has proven the world the quality of its sailors. Sailing has been practiced in PR since early twentieth century. However, catamaran sailing, particularly hobie cats arrived PR in the 70’s. Members of the Puerto Rico Hobie Cat Association (PRHCA) have achieved Pan-American and Central American games gold and silver medals and prestigious awards and recognition on National and International events.
